Mark Dahm, PE, Senior Project Manager

'I enjoy the "difficult" projects, those that require the application and selection of treatment processes that are an optimum fit to solve the problem and fit within a target budget - typically with special constraints imposed.'

Most Memorable Project
The Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Town of Telluride was a memorable project for me because they required an expansion of their UV disinfection treatment process that involved us working with both physical space and annual budget constraints.  We were able to utilize an innovative channel placement option and phase the equipment upgrade and replacement.  Another exciting and challenging project is the ongoing expansion of the Village of Taos Ski Valley WWTP, with the selection of treatment process upgrades driven by extreme seasonal flow/loading swings, very tight nutrient discharge limits, and influent temperatures limiting the biological processes.

The Personal Side
I have lived in Colorado for almost 40 years and place a high value on exploring the backcountry hiking, camping, skiing, and biking.  Family time is a priority and I am always looking for ways to integrate family time with a good outdoor trip!  I also value professional personal relationships
